Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. The talent agency she worked with noticed her talents and convinced her to make a profession as a model or actor. She decided to drop out of college after much consideration to pursue a career in entertainment. After being disappointed by her performance, she made her movie debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. In order to prove her worth she acted in a variety of low-budget films to improve her acting. It was a difficult path for this actor however she was successful thanks to her strength of character and perseverance. Her name was praised and she received favorable reviews for her role in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
